Maulana Badruddin Ajmal Declear UCC anti-Quran and anti-Islam

Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, the leader of the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF), has strongly opposed the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), denouncing it as contrary to the teachings of the Quran and Islam.

Speaking as the chief guest at a religious gathering held at Balapara Jamiatul Banat Madrasa in Jogighopa, AIUDF president Badruddin Ajmal criticized the absence of unity within the INDI alliance, suggesting that leaders like Mamata Banerjee have distanced themselves, and predicting similar moves from AAP and eventually Akhilesh Yadav.

Regarding the Mangaldoi seat, Ajmal stated that the party has not yet reached a decision. He reiterated his stance against the UCC, asserting that it goes against the principles of both Hinduism and Islam, as well as other religions. In anticipation of the upcoming Lok Sabha election, the AIUDF leader forecasted that the Congress party is expected to secure zero seats.Despite Ajmal’s firm opposition, there are voices within the Muslim community, including scholars and researchers, who lend support to the Uniform Civil Code.
