Ghazwa-e-Hind: NCPCR Files A Complaint After Anti-Fatwa By Darul Uloom

The Darul Uloom madrasa of Deoband, situated in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur district, has often made headlines for its controversial fatwas. However, its latest decree unveils a fanatical stance as it issues an anti-India fatwa. In its recent fatwa, Darul Uloom endorses the notion of Ghazwa-e-Hind, as outlined in Islamic scriptures. The madrasa asserts that those who perish in the invasion of India will be revered as great martyrs, assured of entry into heaven.

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has lodged a complaint against this fatwa. Priyank Kanoongo, the chief of NCPCR, has penned a letter to the Saharanpur SDM and SP, urging them to initiate an FIR in this matter.
