King Charles reportedly faced a setback after he and Queen Camilla made a surprise visit to the Epsom Derby on Friday. They went to watch their horse, Treasure, compete in the Betfred Oaks. This horse was bred by the late Queen Elizabeth II.

The Epsom Derby is the top race of the Flat season and was a favorite of Queen Elizabeth, who attended it regularly. However, according to royal expert Cameron Walker, Treasure did not win The Oaks at Epsom Downs. The horse finished 11th out of 12 runners.

Walker tweeted, “UPDATE: The King and Queen’s horse Treasure has not won The Oaks at Epsom Downs. It came 11th out of 12 runners.”This disappointment for King Charles came as reports surfaced that he wants Prince Andrew out of Royal Lodge, his 30-room mansion.

But Prince Andrew is refusing to leave. Now, according to royal expert Kate Mansey in The Times, the King is threatening to cut off the funding he provides to his brother.
