Taylor Swift’s Father Won’t Face Charges in Alleged Assault Incident

It seems Taylor Swift’s dad, Scott Swift, won’t face charges following allegations of assaulting a local photographer during his recent visit to Australia. Multiple reliable sources suggest that authorities have decided not to pursue legal action against him in connection with the incident that occurred in Sydney last month.

Reports claim that the 71-year-old was accused of getting physical with a 51-year-old photographer named McDonald while the latter was attempting to take pictures of Taylor Swift during her Eras Tour.

According to Sky News, the photographer stated that someone began pushing an umbrella into him and his camera, and then another individual came and punched him in the face when he was trying to capture images of Travis Kelce’s partner. It’s said that the person who threw the punch was allegedly Scott Swift himself.

Taylor’s team member, as reported by Metro UK, mentioned at the time, “Two individuals were aggressively pushing their way towards Taylor, grabbing at her security personnel, and threatening to throw a female staff member into the water,” before ending the discussion.
