Prince Harry is in a similar situation with Meghan Markle as King Charles was with Princess Diana, according to an expert.
Recently, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Nigeria. During their trip, they were treated like royalty. Meghan, known for her role in the TV show “Suits,” talked about her Nigerian roots. They also attended charity events and promoted the Invictus Games.
Royal author and expert Tom Quinn observed that Meghan received more attention than Harry during the trip.
“It’s interesting that one of the big problems between Harry’s parents was that Princess Diana always got more attention than Prince Charles, who didn’t like it,” Tom told The Mirror.
“Now, Harry is in the same situation – he is usually in the background while Meghan gets all the attention. In Nigeria, Meghan was the main focus because of her heritage,” he explained.
Tom concluded, “Harry doesn’t mind for now, but he might feel a bit sidelined, like he’s always a supporting character rather than the main focus.”
