The 37th Convocation of IGNOU is scheduled to take place in Srinagar on February 20, 2024. While the main event will be held at IGNOU HQs in New Delhi, it will be broadcasted live on GyanDarshan, Swayam Prabha, Doordarshan, and webcasted through IGNOU’s website and social media platforms. The IGNOU Regional Centre in Srinagar will also organize a local convocation for learners in the Kashmir region and UT of Ladakh.
Eligible learners, who completed their programs in the Term End Examinations of December 2022 and June 2023, can apply to receive their degree during the convocation. Online registration and fee payment are open until February 10, 2024, through the portal: https://onlineservices.ignou.ac.in/convocation/.
Dr. Shahnawaz provided information on the commencement of admissions for the January 2024 cycle. The deadline for fresh admissions in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online (OL) programs is January 31, 2024. The e-prospectus 2024, containing details about all programs, can be accessed on IGNOU’s website (www.ignou.ac.in) and the Regional Centre Srinagar’s website (www.rcsrinagar.ignou.ac.in).
Prospective students interested in enrolling in any program can visit the university’s admission portal at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in for ODL programs and https://iop.ignouonline.ac.in/ for OL programs. The re-registration deadline for IGNOU learners is January 29, 2024.
