In a conversation with In Touch Weekly, a royal insider disclosed that the Prince and Princess of Wales informed the Sussexes about her surgery beforehand. However, William and Kate chose not to involve them in any post-surgery updates due to concerns about privacy.
The insider implied that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are wary of letting Harry and Meghan back into their lives, fearing a breach of privacy. “The trust is gone,” the source explained, noting that William and Kate cannot risk any potential leaks regarding her condition, which would only add to their current stress.
As a result, it seems unlikely that the Waleses will meet Harry and Meghan during their anticipated UK visit in May to commemorate 10 years of the Invictus Games.
