Drake faced another setback after losing a substantial bet on Tyson Fury, following a reported defeat to Kendrick Lamar.In a high-stakes heavyweight match in Saudi Arabia, the favored British boxer Tyson Fury squared off against Oleksandr Usyk.
The Toronto rap star, known for his gambling habits as highlighted by Kendrick Lamar in “Meet The Grahams,” placed a $565,000 bet on Fury, hoping to win $1 million. However, Fury lost to the Ukrainian boxer in a split decision, adding to Drake’s streak of unfortunate sports bets, commonly referred to as the ‘Drake curse.’
Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar seems to be enjoying success, with some claiming he came out on top in his rivalry with Drake. Recently, he purchased a property in his hometown of Brentwood, Los Angeles, for double its market price.
The deal is reportedly near completion, with Kendrick set to spend $40 million on the 16,000-square-foot mansion, which previously sold for $19.5 million.
