The Express reports that Prince William is considering refurbishing a “spacious red-brick annexe building” adjacent to the cottage to improve his family’s living environment.
According to sources, this building is “currently not suitable for habitation and requires major renovation if it is to be used.” While there have been ongoing discussions about integrating the property into the cottage grounds, the project is awaiting the ideal moment to begin.
An insider indicated that William is very “aware” of the public’s scrutiny regarding “Royal Family spending,” and he is seeking the most effective way to handle the renovation expenses.
The report also suggests that the son of King Charles has delayed the renovation plans due to the family’s “unfortunate situation,” but the project is expected to move forward “when the time is right.”
