Princess Diana seemingly foresaw the divide between her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.The late Princess of Wales, who tragically died in a car accident in 1997, had hoped her sons would always remain close, according to her former butler, Paul Burrell.
In an interview with Bella Magazine, Burrell shared Diana’s role as a “peacemaker” and expressed his belief that she would have prevented the current conflict between the brothers if she were still alive.
“She wanted the four of them to stay united,” Burrell said. “It broke her heart when that bond began to unravel. She would have foreseen that without their unity, William and Harry would face their own issues, which has unfortunately come true. It’s a lost cause without Diana’s guidance,” Burrell lamented.
Adding to this, Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, vowed to support William and Harry during her funeral. He stated, “Their blood family will protect and support them both spiritually and emotionally.”
