Prince Harry Hints at ‘Spare’ Sequel Amidst Family Tensions and Health Battles

Prince Harry hinted at a sequel to his bestselling memoir, “Spare,” according to a royal expert. However, a follow-up autobiography could further jeopardize his chances of reconciling with his family, especially King Charles, Prince William, and Kate Middleton.

Royal author and expert Robert Hardman, as reported by The Independent, suggested that the Duke of Sussex may soon publish part two of his controversial memoir. Hardman noted that Harry only briefly covered his wedding to Meghan Markle, dedicating just four or five pages, implying that a sequel might be on the horizon.

“As an author, that indicates one thing to me: part two might be on its way,” Hardman said, adding that a sequel would likely further strain his relationship with the Royal Family.

Similarly, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield mentioned on her Unfiltered podcast that the Duke signed a contract with his publisher for multiple books, suggesting a sequel could be in the works. However, Schofield speculated that Harry might delay his plans out of consideration for his father, King Charles, and sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, who are both battling cancer.

“I don’t think he would put his family in such a difficult position while they’re dealing with multiple cancer issues,” she said. “But if ‘Spare’ was such a huge financial success for him, it would make sense for him to pursue that further.”

Schofield added, “Aside from the Netflix docu-series, ‘Spare’ was one of the Sussexes’ few real commercial successes.”
