New Israeli Assaults in Gaza’s Khan Younis Leave 7 Dead, UN Official Warns No Safe in Gaza

Israeli forces have launched new attacks in Gaza’s Khan Younis, resulting in the deaths of at least seven individuals, according to Al Jazeera. A senior UN official highlighted the dire situation, emphasizing that there is no safe place in Gaza for people to seek refuge or protection.

Andrea De Domenico, the head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt), stated, “Nowhere and no one is safe in Gaza,” describing it as a place where people cannot find safety or escape from the front line.

The Israeli military’s strike on a building near Khan Younis’ Nasser Hospital claimed the lives of at least seven people. This attack occurred just days after Israel had instructed residents to evacuate the city.
