Embracing Devotion: Srinagar Welcomes First Pilgrims of Amarnath Yatra with Open Arms

In a warm display of welcome, the initial group of devotees for the Shri Amarnathji Yatra was cordially met by the Deputy Commissioner of Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, upon their arrival at Pantha Chowk in Srinagar this Friday.

The first contingent of worshippers setting out on the revered Amarnath Yatra received a hearty welcome from the local government representatives.

In attendance to offer their warm wishes to the yatris were Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Srinagar Ashish Kumar Mishra, alongside various civil and police dignitaries.

“The Amarnath Yatra holds great importance to us, and our dedication to the pilgrims’ safety and comfort is unwavering,” declared DC Srinagar Dr. Bilal. “We open our hearts to all the devotees and pledge our support for them on every step of their sacred expedition,” he added.

To facilitate a seamless Yatra experience, the district authorities have instituted thorough measures. These preparations encompass stringent security protocols, medical amenities, and logistical assistance to accommodate the pilgrims’ requirements, as explained by the DC.

He assured that the pilgrims are emboldened to commence their hallowed trek to the Amarnath shrine, confident in the knowledge that their welfare and security are a priority for the local administration.
