Hi everyone, Luis Elizondo here— a former U.S. Counterintelligence agent of some rank (and until recently an intelligence advisor to the Army) from January 2010 – October 24th, army veteran with Navy experience and most importantly author! Today, I still provide support to the U.S. government, but do so in a more public fashion by speaking out for greater transparency on the issue of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs).
I was not really the sort to ever care much about UFOs, or Star Wars and Close Encounters of a Third Kind etc. What is your background (relevant studies), and when/how did you first gain an interest in this subject matter? My degree was actually in science, I have a Bachelor’s from the University of Miami with dual majors — Microbiology & Immunology + independent study classes focused on Parasitosis.
One of the thing I follow religiously — is the Scientific Method. Following my service in the Army, I worked as an Investigative Special Agent within Counterintelligence where — among other things on a wide-ranging caseload including terrorism and espionage — we focused heavily upon targeting numerous forms of serious violent crimes. I have always been a factual and rule-driven person.
