The highly anticipated seventh installment of the Jurassic franchise, Jurassic World Rebirth, has just revealed its first look. Universal Pictures has dropped an exciting new poster showcasing lead stars Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey.
One striking poster captures Johansson and Bailey peering intently from behind the tall grass, their expressions full of intrigue. Another image features Mahershala Ali, appearing alarmed and gripping a torch, adding a sense of suspense to the film’s atmosphere.
In this action-packed thriller, Johansson stars as a covert operations expert, Ali plays a seasoned team leader, and Bailey takes on the role of a paleontologist.
The film’s synopsis teases a gripping plot: “The three most colossal creatures within a tropical biosphere hold the key to a revolutionary drug with life-saving potential for humanity.”
It continues: “Covert operations expert Zora Bennett is assigned to lead a high-stakes mission to obtain genetic material from the world’s three largest dinosaurs. When Zora’s mission intersects with a civilian family stranded after a boating accident caused by aggressive aquatic reptiles, they find themselves on an island facing a shocking and sinister secret concealed for decades.”
As anticipation builds, it’s worth noting that the Jurassic World trilogy has previously surpassed $1 billion at the global box office. Jurassic World Rebirth is slated to hit theaters on July 2, 2025.
